Hi, I am the owner of Sandy's Massage & Bodyworks.  I went to professional massage school at Desert Resorts School of Somatherapy in the Desert Hot Springs/now in Palm Springs, over 12 yrs ago, & have received well over 7-800 hours(I've stopped counting) of both professional schooling and continuing education.   I have experience working at the massage school clinic and both at a small day spa in Palm Springs & a large 5-Star Spa in Indian Wells.  But I never felt I was working in the best conditions for myself, or for our clients.  It was all about the money and then working on to the next person then scooting them out and on to the next appointment.  I wanted to make a difference and make a change that was both a wonderful experience for the clients and therapists.  

I started the business in 2000.  It was a very hard to get started, both working 7 days a week(between a job in the desert and my days and hours in Idyllwild).  When 3-4 yrs. passed, I could finally see, and hear that my business and it's name where becoming a household name in Idyllwild, and beyond, so I decided to stay.  Since then, I have moved the business to a better location in Idyllwild.  I have added on more days of work through the years and much better hours. 

I am very happy to be able to say that I do what I love, it is my passion.  I want to say how happy we are to see quite a few returning clients and referrals to our facility.  We appreciate that our clients love Idyllwild and think of us when they want to experience both the best of treatments and too relax, in beautiful Idyllwild.
